CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Some neighborhoods in Clemson are under a boil water advisory Friday, according to the city's website.
A statement on cityofclemson.org said residents in the Lynwood Subdivision, Chimney Ridge Apartments, Old Shirley Road, Tabor Street and Spring Street neighborhoods are asked to vigorously boil their water for at least a minute before consuming it.
The advisory was issued after a water main break caused low water pressure in the area, according to the statement.
Officials said the advisory will remain in effect until tests are complete Friday night.
