Spartanburg County deputies said they are looking for a man who removed his monitoring bracelet and escaped home detention Friday.
Deputies said 42-year-old William Cotton, of Inman, was placed on alcohol monitoring and home detention in August as a condition of his bond for charges of driving under the influence and driving under suspension.
On Friday morning, Cotton removed his bracelet, deputies said. They said when deputies arrived at his home, they found the removed bracelet, but Cotton had left his home.
Anyone with information regarding Cotton's whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
