Simpsonville man killed in Greenville wreck

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Coroner Barry Wright said a 19-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Greenville on Monday.

Wright said Timothy Donegan, of Simpsonville, was headed west on Woodruff Road in a Nissan Maxima when he lost control and hit a tree.

Donegan was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:30 p.m.

Wright said speed appears to be a factor in the wreck.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
