A Greer police officer was suspended Wednesday after a brawl at a Spartanburg bar early New Year's Day.
Spartanburg police said that at about 2:20 a.m. they were called to the Main Street Pub at 252 W. Main St. regarding a fight.
According to an incident report, when officers arrived, several people were yelling and still trying to fight with each other. The report said that at least one person had a bloody nose and mouth.
