Late Afternoon & Evening: Clouds will stick around through the afternoon and evening as temperatures remain in the 40s with some 30s in Western NC. A pocket of light rain or drizzle is possible, but other than drizzle, rain isn't likely.
Tonight: Temperatures will turn colder as our sky clears out tonight. Lows will fall into the 30s and upper 20s for Upstate towns. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few 26°-27° readings in a few rural Upstate towns by early Friday. Western NC can expect 20s tomorrow morning as well.
Sunny Friday: A sunny sky will provide some relief after a cold start. Temperatures won't be warm by any means, but the sunny, blue sky will make things feel much more comfortable. Highs will range between 49° and 52° for Upstate/NE Georgia towns with 40s across Western NC by afternoon.
