Good morning! Hopefully you had a great weekend - and a restful night's sleep. You MAY have to head out a few minutes early this morning, as we do have frost across much of the region. That means your car windshield will need some clearing - either by starting the car a few minutes early... or taking the scraper and getting an early-morning arm workout!
We'll stay very quiet weather-wise through the day today. Highs will be near-normal, if not a little bit above seasonal levels. Temperatures will warm into the mid 50s in the Mountains, while WNC highs will top out around 50 degrees. Blue sky and sunshine will stay overhead through the morning and afternoon, so keep your sunglasses nearby!
Overnight skies will remain clear, and temperatures will be cold again. Lows will fall into the low 30s in the Upstate and the low/mid 20s in the Mountains. While clouds increase on Tuesday, we'll stay dry tomorrow, with highs slightly warmer than today.
Rain chances return Wednesday through Friday; however, I don't think any of those days will be total wash-outs. There will be no chance of wintry precipitation anywhere local, as temperatures stay above-normal through the end of the week.
Mild temperatures will be a BIG story by the weekend, as Upstate highs warm into the mid/upper 60s and WNC highs reach the low/mid 60s. Those of you who are already over the cold air will have some warmer thermometer readings to enjoy!
