SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said two people trying to buy some weed ended up losing their cash and clothes at gunpoint instead.

Spartanburg police said the victims met the dealers along Reverend Booker T. Sears Drive on Saturday about 9:50 p.m. where they told officers they planned to buy some marijuana.

Instead of buying anything, police said the victims were robbed of their wallets and pants. The robbers fired multiple shots off, hitting the victim's car, before leaving, according to the police report.

When officers arrived, they said they found the victims still wearing their underwear after the robbers fled on foot towards Collins Avenue, but they didn't locate them.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
