An Upstate woman is accused of hitting a man during a fight then stabbing another man who tried to break up the fight, according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said they arrived at a home on Little Africa Road on Saturday where they found one man bleeding from the neck, a woman bleeding from her forehead and another man with a head wound.

After talking to those involved, deputies said 25-year-old Rachelle Whiteside got into a fight with the father of her children, hitting him with a glass bottle. They said his cousin tried to break up the fight, prompting her to hit him and stab him in the neck.

Whiteside and the cousin were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for treatment. Deputies later arrested Whiteside and charged her with aggravated assault and battery and aggravated criminal domestic violence. She was being held at the county jail on $10,000 bond.
