GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies asked for the public's help Monday to find the suspect in the shooting death of a woman killed nearly a decade ago.

Deputies said that on April 20, 2003, 45-year-old Miguel Angel Hemorsillio Alcaraz followed Medy Dora El Zelaya into the parking lot of Barrington Park Apartments and shot her twice through the open window of her vehicle. They said Alcaraz fled the scene after the shooting.

Alcaraz may be in the area, deputies said. They said he once lived on Terry's Gap Road in Hendersonville, NC.

Anyone with information regarding Alcaraz's whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME (864-232-7463).
