MARIETTA, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said masked men robbed a northern Greenville County Dollar General store at gunpoint Monday night.
Greenville County deputies said the robbers entered the store on Geer Highway in Marietta at closing time about 10 p.m. Investigators said they forced the employees into the back of the store, taking cash and their cell phones before fleeing.
Deputies said the robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks.
Greenville County deputies are actively investigating this and other robberies the area with the help of agencies in Pickens and Anderson counties.
