Forecast: Record lows possible tonight

Turning partly sunny into the afternoon in the wake of a blast of winter earlier this morning. Slushy snow accumulations of 1 to 2" were very common across the area. Very cold this afternoon and quite windy with highs in the middle and upper 30s. Average highs for the middle of April are around 60.

Very cold and mostly clear tonight with record lows possible. Temperatures will tumble to near 20.
 
The current standing record low for Wednesday morning is 20 degrees set 139 years ago in 1875.

Mostly sunny and just a bit warmer into Wednesday afternoon with highs in the upper 40s.
