GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers said a pedestrian is dead after being hit by a car in Greenville on Wednesday evening.
Coroner Tony Segar said 83-year-old Harold Jaudon was walking East across Old Easley Bridge Road near Whitehorse Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was headed North.
Troopers said the vehicle and Jaudon collided around 6:30 p.m.
Segar said Jaudon was taken to Greenville Memorial where he later died of blunt force trauma.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and MAIT team are investigating the crash.
