DNR: Hunter left gear, gun in duck blind on Upstate lake

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Department of Natural Resources officials said a report of a possible missing hunter after a gun was found in a duck blind Friday morning proved to be unfounded.

DNR officials said an angler found the weapon on Saluda Lake, but there was no hunter nearby.

Agents went to the lake to check on the report where they learned the hunter had left his gear in the blind overnight and was on his way back to pickup.

They said the blind was near White Horse and Motor Boat Club roads.
