Police investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian along S. Pleasantburg Drive. (Jan. 15, 2013/FOX Carolina)
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville police said they are investigating a crash along a popular Greenville roadway after a pedestrian was killed Tuesday morning.
Police said a vehicle hit a pedestrian about 6 a.m.and the man has died in a wreck that happened not far from McAlister Square along South Pleasantburg Drive near Legrand Boulevard.
Drivers in the area should expect delays as officials investigate and clear the scene.
FOX Carolina crews at the scene said two lanes of southbound traffic along South Pleasantburg Drive was blocked for drivers. The southbound turning lane onto Legrand Boulevard was also closed.
