Troopers in North Carolina said an Interstate 26 connector in Henderson County is blocked after a glue truck crashed Tuesday morning.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol said the tractor trailer hauling latex glue crashed just before 6 a.m. along the US 25 connector to I-26 near East Flat Rock, blocking southbound US 25.
Troopers said clean up will take several hours, though it is not a Hazmat situation.
At least one person was injured in the crash, troopers said.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation has suggested the following detour as an alternate route for drivers wanting to take US 25 south. From I-26 south, take exit 53 (Upward Road), then turn right on Upward Road and continue to US 176 West (Spartanburg Highway) to re-access US 25.
