MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Police said they have arrested seven people and are looking for one more in connection with a recent spike in auto break-ins and burglaries in the Mauldin area.
Mauldin police said they first identified five suspects in connection with 20 burglaries and auto break-ins, arresting four of the five recently.

Police said they were also able to identify two more adults and a
minor in connection with a second burglary ring, who were involved in
five cases with more charges pending.
Officers are still looking for 17-year-old David Byndyu on one count of second-degree burglary and 14 counts of auto breaking.
Anyone with information about Byndyu's whereabouts is asked to call the Mauldin Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
