GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify a man who was hit and killed while crossing Pleasantburg Drive on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened about 6 a.m. at the intersection of South Pleasantburg Drive and Legrand Boulevard.
Greenville County Deputy Coroner Jeff Fowler described the man, who died at the scene, as Hispanic, about 25 years old, 5'6" tall and 130 pounds. He said the man may have had the nickname "Cockroach," and frequented the coin-operated laundry at the corner of Legrand Boulevard and McAlister Road.
Anyone with information about the man's identity was asked to call the Greenville County Coroner's Office at 864-455-1370.
