LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Laurens County deputies said a Fountain Inn man made homemade bombs and detonated them on his property.

Deputies said they arrested 39-year-old Scott Kraft on Friday after receiving reports of several explosions that were heard coming from Kraft's property on Gentry Road in Fountain Inn.

Authorities said State Law Enforcement Division's bomb squad was called in, and found evidence that Kraft was making improvised explosives on the property.

Kraft was charged with two counts of manufacturing an improvised explosive device and released later from jail on a $10,000 bond.
