Buncombe Co. teen accused of raping girl

WEAVERVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A Weaverville teenager is accused of raping a girl, according to deputies.

Buncombe County deputies said the minor-aged girl reported the assault after it happened in June of 2012 outdoors near North Buncombe High School.

Deputies said they recently arrested and charged Justin Jones, 18, with rape. They said Jones is a student at the high school.

School district officials confirmed with FOX Carolina on Wednesday that Jones is a senior at North Buncombe High.
