Police offer $5K reward in 2005 homicide case

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The case of a Spartanburg man who was shot to death in 2005 remains unsolved and police hope someone will come forward with new information to help their investigation.

Spartanburg Public Safety Department said on Wednesday that up to $5,000 cash is available to someone who can share information that would lead to an arrest in connection with Azon Hollis' death.

Police said Hollis was shot while sitting in the driver's seat of a blue 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis in front of 240 Appian Dr. on Oct. 22, 2005 about 9:30 p.m.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-274-6372 or investigators at 864-596-2065.
