GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office was called to the scene of a crash involving a train and a pedestrian Wednesday night.
The crash happened about 6 p.m. along East Poinsett Road Extension near Moore and Fourth streets at the city limits of Greer.

Master Deputy Kevin Bobo, of the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, said the pedestrian was walking on the tracks and did not move when the train blew its whistle.
Spartanburg County Coroner said the victim was 18-year-old Ryan Greenwood, of Lyman.
