PELZER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said four people were arrested in Anderson County after they were found breaking into storage buildings.

Anderson County deputies said the suspects were caught trying to break into units at a storage center on White Plains Road at Highway 8 near Interstate 85 about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

When deputies responded, they said one suspect, identified as 49-year-old Terry Thrasher, ran away through a field, across the interstate and hid under an abandoned house. They were able to track Thrasher using canine officers and arrest him.

Deputies said the other three men were arrested at the storage units.

The three other suspects were identified as 22-year-old Adam Clontz, 42-year-old Frank Evans and 18-year-old Damien Tiller.

All four men were charged with second-degree burglary.
