Someone broke into an Upstate academy for at-risk youth this week and stole cash according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said they were called to Glenn Springs Academy in Pauline Tuesday morning after the school's director discovered the cash box out of place with money missing.

Deputies said a window was found disturbed and the front door would not close correctly.

According to their website, Glenn Springs provides a safe, stable and structured place to live and meaningful experiences for at-risk young men.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
