GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville County deputies said they are investigating a pair of armed robberies Thursday that may be connected.
The first happened at 11:11 a.m. at the Stop N Go at 395 Conestee Rd.
Deputies said someone wearing a dark jacket and a ski mask who was armed with a handgun, walked into the store and demanded money. They said they were not sure if the bandit got away with anything.
The second robbery happened at 12:14 p.m. at the Corner Mart at 8698 White Horse Rd.
Deputies said someone who was also wearing a dark jacket and ski mask, and also armed with a handgun, held up the store. They said they were not sure if the robber was able to steal anything before fleeing the store.

The second robbery prompted a brief lockdown at nearby Armstrong Elementary School.
