GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A freight train derailed Friday morning along the tracks at the BMW Manufacturing plant in Greer, according to dispatchers.
Spartanburg County officials said four cars of a Norfolk Southern train derailed sometime before 6 a.m. inside the BMW rail yard. They said no one was injured.
A FOX Carolina iWitness said two of the trains only appeared to be tipped over, dangling off the tracks.
There is no word yet what the train was carrying or how long it will take to clear the scene.
