Barbara Voiselle (Spartanburg Co. Detention Center)
SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Police said a Spartanburg Bi-Lo store employee tried to steal several packs of soda and some cheese after leaving work on Thursday.
Spartanburg police were called to the Southport Road store where the manager said he saw 56-year-old Barbara Voiselle walk out of the store pushing a buggy with six, 12-packs of soda and two packs of cheese in the cart.
Voiselle had just clocked out before putting the items in the cart and leaving the store, police said.
The manager went out and stopped her because she had not paid for the items where she confessed to stealing them, according to the police report.
Voiselle was arrested and charged with breach of trust. She was released from jail on $2,130 bond.
