A Gaffney man is out of jail on bond after police say he robbed and kidnapped a man outside a gas station early Thursday evening on Logan Street in Gaffney.
The suspect has since been identified as Marquis Holmes. The police report states he made the victim drive him to the west end of town and had one more demand.
"My son told me the guy asked him to let him out and then asked for $30. He gave him the money and he didn't know what else to do," said Jimmy Jackson, the victim's father.
Jackson said his son was so afraid because he says the suspect had a gun in his pants. It's an incident the victim just wanted to forget, but his father said he had to report it.
Holmes is out of jail on a $15,000 bond.
