SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg police said two men stormed a woman's apartment and stole from her before fleeing Monday night.
The woman was watching television at her West Park Drive apartment when two masked men kicked in her front door and robbed her at gunpoint about 11:30 p.m., police said.
One of the men pointed a gun in her face, demanding money, then found her purse before running away, police said. They said the woman could not see the men's faces, but thought she recognized one of their voices as someone who often helps her carry things to her apartment.
Police brought in search dogs to look for the men, finding a black knit, Toboggan-style hat near $360 near the side of her building. Police said while searching in the area, they stopped one man matching the description and took him in for questioning.
Police have not said if any charges have been filed or other arrests made in connection with the home invasion and robbery.
