The person of interest named in connection with the shooting of a 17-year-old Spartanburg man was in custody Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Spartanburg police said they found the victim at a Victoria Gardens apartment about 7:20 p.m. Sunday, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The teen was taken to the hospital where he was still recovering from his injury, police said.
