I echo Alex Wilson's sentiments... thanks for all the well wishes on this Weather Person's Day! I'll be eating ice cream for days, and hopefully still fitting in my maternity pants haha!
Weatherwise, things are looking GORGEOUS for Wednesday with highs in the 60s tomorrow in the Upstate and 50s for the mountains under sunny skies! About 8-10 degrees above normal area-wide. HUGE change comes Thursday as a wedge sets up, bringing highs down to the 40s and low 50s, clouds and late day/evening showers. I will say that our forecast models are doing a good job on agreeing about the timing for the rain. Looks like 7pm Thursday to 6am Friday will be our timeframe... but how heavy it will be is still in question. I'm going with scattered light to moderate showers. There is a chance for some brief periods of heavy rain, especially while many of us are sleeping on Thursday night!
The weekend should be mostly dry, but showers possible late Sunday. Monday-Wednesday is looking wet as a front moves in and stalls for a bit. Some VERY cold air will roll in behind the front late next week as it looks now!
