ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies hope someone can identify a man who used a stolen debit card a short time after the card was stolen during a car break-in in Anderson.
Anderson County deputies said on Feb. 1 someone broke into car at a home on Providence Church Road and stole the victim's wallet and other valuables.
Then a little later, a man tried to use the stolen debit card at a nearby convenience store, deputies said. They described the man as a white male. He was wearing a black jacket or hoodie, blue jeans and was driving a small, compact red car.
A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Anyone who can identify the man or has information on the theft is asked to call investigators at 864-260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
