GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Some florists across the Upstate worked late Wednesday night to prepare for their busiest day of the year - Valentine's Day.

Springfield Florist employees said they had been working around the clock. Noah Barnett said it has been so busy they have had to bring in extra help to carry the load.

"We had to hire six extra drivers and we have four or five extra designers," said Barnett.

You would think with all this extra help its easy, but the planning for this big day began as soon as Christmas was over.

A Arrangement in Greer said they're business has been so big they had to bring in a flatbed trailer to store flowers. They also said they had to hire 15 drivers and 4 extra designers to get it all done.

"Fast and furious we have had a couple of crews going off and on split shifts," said A Arrangement manager James Kean-Grossman.
