SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg police said they found two burglars a short time after neighbors reported they broke into three homes Wednesday morning.

Police were first called to a home on Winfield Drive after someone said they saw two men kick in their neighbor's back door and begin to load things into a SUV they had backed up under the carport.

The witness was able to give police a description of the men and SUV, so a short time later, officers pulled the SUV over and found the stolen items inside, police said.

As they were investigating the first burglary, police said neighbors at two homes on Talmage Drive had their homes broken into as well. A microwave, televisions, laptops, iPads, Playstations and jewelry were some of the items stolen during the burglaries, police said.

Tevin Thomas, 19, and Monquez Fowler, 24, were arrested and charged with two counts of grand larceny and two counts of second-degree burglary. Thomas was also charged with possession of a stolen gun and unlawful carrying of a gun.
