We'll get a real "mixed bag" of weather for end of the week and start of this weekend. Tomorrow we'll be mostly sunny through much of the day, then clouds will approach as a front moves in. The colder air will spill in Saturday, bringing breezy conditions! We'll also have an upper disturbance rolling through, and that will bring a little moisture to the mountains, Upstate and northeast GA. The mountains will likely get some snow out of this disturbance, while the Upstate and northeast GA will probably get a few flurries and light rain drops. This could be fairly similar to what we saw a few Saturday's ago in the Upstate, where a few northern Upstate spots got a dusting of sleet/snow, but that would be the MOST possible. Snow amounts for the mountains will be modest, around 1-3 inches in the higher elevations.
The cold air will be the big weather story for the weekend. Temps will only make the low to mid 40s in the Upstate on Saturday, while the mountains will stay in the 30s all day. Saturday night will bring teens to the mountains and low 20s for the Upstate! A steady warm-up is in store after that, then some rain pushes in for Tuesday.
