Leicester woman accused of robbing bank

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A Leicester woman was arrested after deputies said she held up a bank last week.

Buncombe County deputies said that on Feb. 6, someone robbed the First Citizens Bank at 601 New Leicester Hwy.

On Thursday, deputies arrested 28-year-old Rachel Smith and charged her with common law robbery. She is being held at the Buncombe County Jail on $10,000 bond.
