GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville County deputies have arrested and charged four suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of a Greenville man in December.
On Dec. 11 investigators found the body of 51-year-old Joseph Crite shot to death inside his Lanford Drive home. The coroner said Crite was shot multiple times.
Investigators said they were called to the home after receiving a disturbance call at 1:47 a.m.
Deputies said they later determined that four suspects went to Crite's home to rob him and at some point, two suspects went inside, held him at gunpoint and shot him. Deputies said Crite was held at gunpoint in his den and at least a bottle of liquor was stolen during the robbery.
On Friday, investigators arrested and charged 17-year-old Mercedes Adams, 19-year-old Muniashia Harper, 19-year old Brandon Adams and 22-year old Michael Anderson with murder as well as criminal conspiracy.
Brandon Adams and Harper were also charged with kidnapping, burglary first degree, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. They are all being held at the Greenville Co. Detention Center without bond.
