Precipitation won't start falling until very late tonight because 1) the system is still pretty far out to our west and 2) it's very dry here so it will take a while for precipitation to stop evaporating before it hits the ground. Between 3-5am we'll see a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow for the mountains and mostly rain for the Upstate. We could briefly get some sleet in the Upstate, especially in northern Greenville, Pickens and Oconee counties, but most of the precip will be rain there as well.
It will be damp morning, but we should notice a nice clearing for the afternoon. It will be breezy throughout Tuesday, then winds should calm Tuesday night and temps will be sub-freezing area-wide.
Wednesday and Thursday look pretty good, with a mix of sun and clouds and highs a little cooler than normal. More rain pushes in by Friday.
