CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Seneca woman charged last week in connection with a rash of bomb threats in Oconee County was also charged Tuesday in connection with bomb threats at Clemson University.
On Friday, Oconee County deputies said 38-year-old Melissa Griggs was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued for a trespassing charge at the Walmart store in Seneca. She was then charged with eight counts of making a bomb threat in connection with calls to 911 between Feb. 10 and 11 where threats were conveyed.
On Tuesday, Clemson University police said Griggs was also charged with two counts of making a bomb threat in connection with threats made to the Hendrix Student Center on Jan. 30 and Feb. 4.
Griggs was being held in the Oconee County jail on bond.
