A Simpsonville man who was riding his bike early Thursday morning was killed when he was hit by a car.
The crash happened at 2:19 a.m. on Fairview Road.
Greenville County Coroner Kent Dill said 21-year-old Matthew Borkowski was riding his bicycle from his house to a friend's house when he was hit by a car. He said Borkowski died at a local hospital at 10 a.m.
Dill said Borkowski used the bike as his primary mode of transportation.
Troopers said they are investigating the crash.
