Deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a Greenville home early Saturday morning.
Jonathan Smith, of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said they were called to 630 Centre Blvd. at 4:09 a.m. after someone reported hearing gunshots. He said arriving deputies found a man's body lying just inside the back door of the home.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old John Zimeri, of Greenville, according to Greenville County Coroner Kent Dill. He said Zimeri died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
