The Clemson Tigers will face eight conference opponents this year, including new inductee Syracuse.

On Monday, the Atlantic Coast Conference released the schedule for its 14 schools, including new league members Syracuse and Pittsburgh.

The Tigers will start the season with a home game against non-conference Georgia on Aug. 31, followed by South Carolina State on Sept. 7.

North Carolina State will be Clemson's first conference opponent and the team's first away game Sept. 19. The Thursday game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Oct. 5, the Tigers will travel to New York to take on Syracuse.

The all important in-state rivalry game between Clemson and South Carolina is scheduled for Nov. 30.

Bye weeks are scheduled for Sept. 14 and Nov. 9.
