Mauldin police: Teen tried to buy stolen guns

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A teenager was arrested Monday after police said he tried to buy stolen guns.

Mauldin police said 19-year-old Wesley Guarino tried to buy the firearms, which he believed were stolen, from a confidential informant, who was working with both the department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Guarino was charged with federal gun violations. He was being held in jail on $75,000 bond.
