GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers shut down southbound Interstate 85 near mile marker 93 in Cherokee County for a while Thursday morning because of a vehicle fire.
The highway patrol said detoured traffic off the interstate at exit 95 and then back on at exit 92 because of the tractor-trailer fire for a time early Thursday morning.

Later on, troopers reopened the interstate, though travel was down to one lane for a while.

The tractor trailer was eventually hauled away by a tow truck. There is no word what sparked the fire.
