And food critics with Southern Living cooked up a contest that put Greenville on the list as one the South's tastiest towns.

The man behind the Ford's Oyster Bar menu is Executive Chef Damion Norton.
"We bring a lot of flavor, a lot of flair," Norton said.
He said the culinary culture is turning Greenville into a foodie town like New Orleans and Charleston.
"Now Greenville is in the running. We're really showing what we have," Norton.
Other towns featured on the top 10 list in the region are Asheville and Charleston.
Voting for the contest at southernliving.com ended Thursday at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in Southern Living's May issue, which hits newsstands April 19.
