INMAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Dispatchers said a downed power line had blacked out power to nearly 1,400 customers in Spartanburg County Friday morning.
Spartanburg County dispatchers said a power line was down on Campton Road in Inman near Milliken. They did not know why the line had fallen, but said it was not because of a car crash.
Duke Energy reported 1,364 customers without power about 7 a.m.
Firefighters were assisting at the scene awaiting power crews to repair the line.
The Highway Patrol said traffic lights were out at North Main Street and U.S. 176 in Inman. Drivers should expect some delays and approach intersections where lights are out with caution.
