Pauline man accused of sexual relationships with 2 girls

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Pauline man turned himself in to deputies on Thursday after they said he had sexual relationships with two minor-aged girls.

Spartanburg County deputies said Michael Lawson, 26, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Deputies said the victims were seen at children's advocacy centers in the Spartanburg area and North Carolina where the incidents were reported earlier in February.

According to the arrest warrants, Lawson had sex with one victim last summer, who was between 14 and 16 years old at the time, and inappropriately touched another girl who was younger than 11.

Lawson is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
