SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg man was arrested Friday after he broke into a home and exposed himself to someone inside, according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said that at 1:45 p.m. they were called to a home on Brianna Drive. They said 23-year-old Jeffery Price walked through an unlocked back door of the home and then exposed his privates to a woman who lived there. They said that the woman then called for her husband who chased Price away with a broom.

Deputies said that Price then ran down nearby Old Furnace Road, exposing himself to several people along the way. They said deputies eventually surrounded Price in a wooded area near Boiling Springs High School. They said that Price was arrested when he walked out of the woods, wearing only his socks.

Investigators said because Price had admitted to taking drugs, he was taken to a local hospital. While there, he performed a sexual act on himself and admitted to killing his girlfriend, investigators said. They said Price's girlfriend was found unharmed.

Price was charged with second-degree burglary and seven counts of indecent exposure.
