New details emerged on an alleged stabbing Friday night on the Western New England University campus.
WNEU's assistant vice president Dave Stawasz told CBS 3 that no assault took place.
He said campus police continued their investigation overnight and determined that the report of a student suffering a minor wound on his forehead was unfounded.
The matter has been turned over the school's student affairs office for follow-up and appropriate action.
