CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
The Clemson Tigers took their football practice inside during their first practice of the spring.
The team showcased their new indoor practice field while also working to build on last year's 11-2 season.
Head coach Dabo Swinney said that with Andre Hopkins headed to the NFL, quarterback Tajh Boyd will be looking to connect with two receivers from Dorman High School.
"A guy like Charone Peake, really with his opportunities, he's been great," Swinney said. "He's ready for more. And now, he's going to get more. Adam Humphries - everyone on this staff knows what we got in Adam because we can count on him at crunch time."
Spring practice will culminate with the annual Orange and White Game on April 13.
The Tigers will open up the regular season at home Aug. 31 against Georgia.
