Highway Patrol troopers were lead on a manhunt in Greenville County for the driver of a stolen car Wednesday night.
Authorities said a trooper began chasing a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta on Highway 253 when the car did not stop for blue lights.
Troopers said the chase ended in a crash on Pinebrook Circle and the driver took off on foot.
FOX Carolina spoke to the owner of the stolen car, who said the car was stolen on Tuesday from the front of her house. The owner said whoever stole it painted racing stripes on the car.
